In this article we will talk about Cookies so let’s  taste these virtual cookies. thanks to hackfreaks for the article!

Cookies are a tasty treat for hackers. And it’s not about the cookies your grandma bakes, but about browser cookies. Once we gain access to your cookies, we (the hackers) will take over all your accounts.

Most people think that stealing their cookies is hard enough, but this is not the case. We will prove it right now.

Let’s go!

Step 1 : clone HMMcookies tool from GitHub using kali Linux terminal

git clone https://github.com/swagkarna/hmmcookies

NOTE : The main GitHub was wiped so I added the alternate link, the main link was this: https://github.com/thelinuxchoice/hmmcookies

Step 2 : Now open the folder and run the tool with the following command:

cd hmmcookies

Step 3 : Now select Ngrok as it is free and requires less configuration. Press button 1

Step 4 : choose a payload name and redirect the page.

Step 5 : That’s it, the tool will automatically make the stealing cookies and you will see the link as shown in the picture below.

Step 6 : Now when the target downloads and opens the file, their cookies will be stolen.

Step 7 : You will see stolen cookies as shown below.

That’s it guys. That is why you should not open unknown files and folders from untrusted sources. This is how hackers break into and compromise your accounts by stealing cookies.

Thank you all for your attention!
